On March 31, NOVAMINE participated in the event “Mining and Female Leadership in the Value Chain,” held in Antofagasta—an initiative aimed at strengthening women’s participation in the mining and energy ecosystem 🤝✨.

Representing the company, our General Manager, María Alejandra Giménez Uribe, took part in this event alongside prominent leaders such as Barbara Torres Vallejos, Deputy Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Comité Corfo Antofagasta; Paola Quezada Quiñones, General Manager of Agencia Redes; Alejandra Cardona, Executive Director of CAEM (Argentine Chamber of Mining Companies); Marjorie Henríquez Sánchez, Administration and Finance Manager at Fulcro; and Pablo Rojas Varas, Head of the Division of Development and Industry and the Regional Unit of International Affairs of the Antofagasta Regional Government.

During the event, María Alejandra Giménez Uribe received a recognition diploma 🏅 for her participation in the business development program “Women Mining Entrepreneurs to the Next Level: Capacity Building for the Generation of Competitive Advantages Associated with Companies’ Commercial Positioning in the Mining and Energy Market” (code: 24PDTA-266470).

This program, led by Agencia Redes and supported by Comité Corfo Antofagasta, brings together 30 outstanding women entrepreneurs from the region, with the aim of strengthening their competitiveness and expanding their opportunities within the sector 📈.

Additionally, Novamine took part in a panel discussion alongside organizations such as Fulcro and LYG Servicios, contributing its perspective on the challenges and opportunities to advance gender equity in the industry 💬.
