On March 31, NOVAMINE participated in the event “Mining and Female Leadership in the Value Chain,” held in Antofagasta—an initiative aimed at strengthening women’s participation in the mining and energy ecosystem 🤝✨.

On behalf of NOVAMINE, Manuel Schmitt, Operations Manager, led our participation in a key instance to strengthen relationships and generate new opportunities with the Australian industry 🇦🇺🤝.

Our General Manager, María Alejandra Giménez Uribe, participated in this important milestone, where the sustained impact of the operation in the Antofagasta region over more than three decades was highlighted 🌄.

Novamine advances professional internship programs with students from Don Bosco School in Calama, allowing young talents to enter the real working world. This year we have 4 internship students, gaining operational experience under the supervision of experts.

The PDAC 2026 brought together leaders, companies, and investors from the global mining industry in Toronto 🌍. Our participation included the inauguration of the Chile Pavilion 🇨🇱, a key space to strengthen the country’s presence in international mining and to build connections with companies and institutions. Representatives from the Antofagasta Industrial Association and the EXPONOR team were also present.
