CHILE AND BRAZIL STRENGTHEN BILATERAL COOPERATION: NOVAMINE PRESENT AS A FEMALE REPRESENTATION IN TRADE.

During this presidential visit, a series of meetings and events were held that reinforced the commitment of both countries to strengthen their ties across multiple areas.
Within the framework of the State visit of the President of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, to Chile during the first week of August, a milestone was reached in bilateral cooperation between the two countries with the signing of 19 strategic agreements covering key areas such as trade, science, technology, energy collaboration, and mining, among others.
The event also highlighted the active participation of Chile’s Undersecretary for International Economic Relations (SUBREI), María Sanhueza, in a business forum and seminar focused on women’s involvement in trade. Novamine was recognized as a success story in the mining industry, thanks to our innovation and effective integration of our proprietary KIMBO product line, which includes lifting systems such as the Hopper Change Equipment (ECT) and the Shovel Lifting System (ELP) for large-scale mining trucks and equipment. As a result, we will be featured in the prestigious 2024 Chilean Mining Suppliers Book, published by the Undersecretariat for International Economic Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with ProChile.
The Undersecretary emphasized the importance of increasing women's participation in trade and decision-making roles within companies, noting that greater inclusion of women will lead to enhanced equity and a more dynamic business environment. We are proud that the leadership of Alejandra Giménez, General Manager of Novamine, has been recognized as a successful example of international integration with Brazil, as well as with Peru, Mexico, the United States, and Mozambique.
At Novamine, we sincerely thank the organizers for inviting us to be part of this important milestone in bilateral collaboration. Although we were unable to attend, we deeply value the recognition and the significant effort behind this impactful event, which contributes greatly to the country's economic development.
